Why has Charlie Carp gone organic?
As people's knowledge of the environment changes and grows, so too does our need to listen to our customer demands. More and more home gardeners are starting up the 'Backyard Veggie Plot', permaculture is on the rise; and people are becoming more conscious of the products that they are using.
Now with Charlie Carp, not only are you ridding Australia's waterways of an introduced pest, but also you can be assured that we can now also offer you CHEMICAL-FREE gardening.
How can you guarantee a product is truly organic?
It is very easy to put the word ORGANIC onto a product these days - BUT it is very hard to get past the rigorous testing of associations such as NASAA.
 NASAA stands for the National Association for Sustainable Agriculture of Australia. Their logo can be seen above and indeed is becoming more recognisable in our industry. It is only when this logo is displayed (or that of the BFA - Biological Farmers Association) that you can be truly assured that the product is indeed CERTIFIED ORGANIC.

What is the major difference between Charlie Carp's original formula and the new premium organic?
As you will notice our NPK for Premium Organic is lower. This is because there is no added nitrogen or any other chemicals to boost our nutrient value. We still use the same slow cook method, which ensures that the essential macro and micro nutrients are kept in the product.
